Scott, N. F. "Grandpap Scott"

age 87 years old, a pioneer of Ottawa county Oklahoma, died very suddenly Thursday afternoon at his home on West First street, Miami. Mr. Scott who was known by many as "Grandpa Scott" often boosted to his many fired that he was never sick a day in his life. He was struck by a boy riding a bicycle about a year ago and received a broken leg. Since that time his health was not good, although he was able to get around on crutches. After four o'clock yesterday afternoon he went into the bathroom and when he failed to come out members of the household investigated and found him lying on the floor dead.
