Received the American Campaign Award, Asia-Pacific Campaign Award, World War II Victory Medal, Korean Campaign Medal. United Nations Medal, and the National Defense Medal. Married Jessie Bengstson on Jan 21, 1968, at Miami. She preceded him in death, Jan 1, 1999. Burial G.A.R. cemetery, Miami.
