the body of Private First Class James L. Poe, 31 year old son of Mrs. Dove Poe, 617 K street northwet, will arrive in Miami Friday at 12:45 pm. Pfc. Poe, attached to the 2nd infantry division, died Oct 24, 1944, of wounds inflicted on Leyte during the Philippine invasion. other survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Vivian Nassau of Phoenix Arizona; Mrs. Virginia Switzer, Mrs. Betty Doty, and Mrs. Bernice Holmes, all of Miami; and one brother, Gerald Poe, Miami. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. the cooper funeral home will be in charge.

Poe, 31 year old World War II victim and son of Mrs. Dove Poe, 617 N street northwest, will be held at the cooper chapel Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. the Rev. Russell Martin will officiate. full military rites will be observed with Veterans of Foreign Wars acting as pallbearers. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery, at Miami.
