Funeral services for Therial Beverly Morton, 27 year old World War II Air Force combat pilot, who died shortly about being injured in a car collision near his home in Commerce Oklahoma, Thursday, were conducted from the First Methodist church at Commerce Sunday afternoon. Rev. M. O. Childers, pastor, officiated. Military rites were conducted at the grave by the Miami American Legion post. Members of the Elks lodge in Miami attended in a body. Burial was in the Miami G.A.R. cemetery.

A federal court jury recently denied $19,000 damages asked in a suit by A. L. Morton, of Commerce against the Roadway Express company, in the death of his 27 year old war veteran son, Therial Beverly Morton, in a truck-automobile collision at Commerce a year ago.
