funeral services for Elmer McLaughlin, who died Thursday at the Veterans hospital in Wadsworth Kansas, will be held at the Catholic church of Lamar Missouri, Monday morning at 10 o'clock. McLaughlin who was 65 years old, had visited in Miami many times and was well known here. he is survived by one son, Jim McLaughlin, Leavenworth Kansas; a brother. P. T. McLaughlin of Miami; a daughter, Mary McLaughlin of south Dakota and a sister, Mrs. J. H. Marwick of Lamar. burial will be in Miami's G.A.R. cemetery at 1:30 pm Monday.
