Jones, Otis Onell

age 83, of Picher Oklahoma, died Jan 14, 2000, at Miami hospital. Born Mar 27, 1916, at Granby Missouri to Oscar Jones and Ida Goade Jones. He had lived in Picher since 1924. He was truck driver for the lead and zinc mines in Picher. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army, in the European Theatre, receiving two bronze service stars and one bronze arrowhead. Married Clara Pansy Allgood on Nov 12, 1938 in Picher. She preceded him in death on Mar 18, 1994. Burial in the Greenlawn cemetery in Kansas northwest of Treece Kansas.
