age 26, the boy of T-5 Denton C. Hargrove, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hargrove, 827 H street northwest, arrived in Miami early this afternoon for final rites and reburial. Hargrove died on Nov 8, 1943 while serving with the armed forces in Italy. He then was 26 years old. Other survivors include brothers, Ray Hargrove and Lee Hargrove, both of Miami and two grandmothers, Mrs. Permelia Hargrove, Miami, and Mrs. Flora Black, Tulsa Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday in the Cooper's funeral home chapel. The Rev. H. H. Cody, pastor of the First Methodist church, will officiate. Pallbearers will be Joe booth, John Weston, Key Wolfe and Delbert Wolfe and Grant Helton and Harold Helton. Military rites will be conducted by F.F.W. members at the grave in G.A.R. cemetery. Note: He was killed in action in Italy while rescuing a fellow Oklahoma. He was a Corporal, an Army Medic. Hargrove received a Silver Star for gallantry in action shortly before his death.
