Abstract Data

age 55, a Picher Oklahoma hard rock lead and zinc miner and overseas veteran of World War I, died at 5:45 o'clock Thursday evening in the Veterans Hospital at Springfield Missouri. A resident of Picher for 28 years, he had been in ill health for the past three months and had been receiving treatment in veteran hospitals during that period. Hall was a member of the Picher post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Delsa Hall, 402 South Netta street; and a brother, George Hall, Picher chief of police. Other survivors include a brother, Edgar Hall, Miami; and two sisters, Mrs. Dovey Ruston, Joplin Missouri, and Mrs. May Ketner, Pawhuska Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Goodson-Durnil funeral home is in charge.

Funeral services for Leonard Thomas Hall, 55-year-old World War I veteran and former Picher miner, will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the First Baptist church in Picher. The Rev. Gloyd Lukeheart will officiate. Hall died Thursday evening in the Veterans Hospital, at Springfield Missouri, after a three-month illness. Military rites will be conducted by members of the Picher post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars at the grave in G.A.R. cemetery In Miami. Goodson-Durnil funeral home is in charge.
