son of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Grigsby who reside north of Miami, died in the service of his country at the army hospital at Fort Oglethorpe Georgia. His body arrived here for interment Wednesday afternoon. He was 20 years of age. Funeral services were held at the family home Thursday afternoon, after which the remains were laid at rest with military honors at the G.A.R. cemetery. Deceased was an exemplary young man and had won a corporalship in the service. He was a member of Company D. of the 11th infantry having first been stationed at Douglas, Arizona, then afterwards at Chattanooga, Tennessee. He had been here in July visiting with his parents.
