Erwin, Harold Eugene

age 76, died Jul 27, 1996, at his residence. Born Feb 20, 1920, in Kusa Oklahoma to Hiram Reece and American Elizabeth Alls Erwin. he married Dora Irene Isam on Jul 1, 1939, in Fort Smith Arkansas. he moved to Miami in 1953 from Fort Smith and graduated from Cherryvale High School and attended College of the Ozarks and Pittsburg State University. Mr. Erwin was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during World War II. he was a retired electronics engineer, working for Eagle Picher Industries for 35 years. he was instrumental in rare metals research of Eagle Picher and was recognized by McDonnel Douglas for his involvement in the Harpoon Weapons System...
