the body of Private First Class Clyde F. Davis, a Picher Oklahoma youth who was killed in England during the war, will arrive in Picher Jul 26, relatives have been advised. Killed Jul 26, 1944, at the age of 19, Davis is survived by his mother, Mrs. Goldie Davis Shafer, Van Nuys California; his wife, Beverly Davis Cruzan, and a son Terry Davis, both of Miami. other survivors include his grandmother, Mrs. Martha Davis, and grandfather, James A. Baird, both of Picher. At the time of his death Private Davis had been in the Army 18 months. Before enlisting for service he attended school in Picher, where he had lived all of his life. funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Goodson-Durnil funeral home of Picher.
