Curlee, Walter Edward

age 72, of Banning California, formerly of Picher Oklahoma, died at 2 pm on Friday, Jan 12, 1996, at Redlands Community hospital in Redlands California. Born on May 14, 1923, in Elvins Missouri to John Curlee and Ida Mae Everitt Curlee. He married Nadine McIntire on Jun 10, 1955 at Las Vegas Nevada, she survives. He moved there from Joplin Missouri and has lived in the Banning area for the past 17 years. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served in World War II.

a 1941 graduate of Picher high school. He joined the Air Force and was a veteran of World War II and Korea. Survived by wife, a step-daughter, Judith McDonald, Burbank California; a brother Harold Curlee, Grove Oklahoma and a sister Ruth Van Volkenburg, Miami; and three grandsons. Burial in the G.A.R. cemetery at Miami.
