Picher Oklahoma, Sep 16. The body of Pvt. Wayne Paul Benson, deceased World War II veteran and son of Mrs. Minnie K. Benson, 513 North River street, Commerce Oklahoma, will arrive in Miami on Saturday for services and re-burial, according to an announcement from the Goodson-Durnil funeral home today. A resident of Douthat Oklahoma before he entered the Army. Private Benson lost his life on a battlefield in France on Nov 12, 1944. He then was 20 years old. Other survivors include three brothers, Charley Benson of Olivehurst California, Morris Benson of Oklahoma City, and Clifford Benson of Milwaukee Oregon; five sisters, Mrs. Jewel McGoyne of Commerce, Mrs. Ruth Hawk of Douthat, Mrs. Helen Webb of Salinas California, Mrs. Treva Cole of Commerce and Miss Emma Benson of the home.

Funeral services for the late Pvt. Wayne Paul Benson, will be conducted at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. The Rev. Ray Rickner of Wayside Oklahoma and the Rev. Jess Weatherby of Douthat will officiate. Pallbearers will be Galen Hull, Clifton Weatherby, Bob Abernathy, Gene Bagsby and Gene Allgood and Jerry Allgood. Burial in the G.A.R. cemetery, Miami.
