Ballard, John P.

age 67 years died Tuesday morning of general debility. He was a North Carolinian by birth, and was an old soldier who had rendered government service serving in the Civil War. Funeral services were held at the family residence on North Pine street Wednesday morning. Rev Cooper and Rev. Hubbard officiating, under the auspices of the G.A.R. post, followed by interment at the G.A.R. cemetery at Miami.
