42 years old, died at the Shannon Hotel last night at 6:30 following a lingering illness with tuberculosis. He had resided in Picher Oklahoma for several years and was well known among mining men of the district. Besides his mother, he is survived by one brother, E. F. Zandon, of Baraboo Wisconsin. The funeral will be held from the chapel of the N. W. Green undertaking parlors Sunday afternoon at 2:00. Burial will be made in the G.A.R. cemetery, at Miami.

The funeral of Arthur H. Zandon, 42 years old, who died at a local hotel Thursday from a lingering illness with tuberculosis, will be held from the First Methodist church Sunday afternoon at 2. Rev. Glenn E. Tilton will conduct the services and burial will be made in the Miami cemetery. The deceased was a member of the I. O. O. F. and Rebekah lodges, of Cardin Oklahoma, and these lodges will have charge of the funeral services. The deceased is survived by his mother and one brother, E. F. Zandon, who resides at Baraboo.

Employees at the Oko Mine have raised a fund of about $75 to assist in paying the funeral expenses of their fellow-workman, Arthur Zanton, who died at a local boarding house last week from tuberculosis. Members of the Cardin and Picher I. O. O. F. Lodge also contributed very liberally, the deceased being a member of the Cardin lodge. For several years he was employed as a machine man at the Oko Mine. Note: Different spellings of the last name.
