Charlie Franklin Young, 68 year-old former Tri-State miner, died at 1 o'clock this morning at his home, 108 North Frisco Street, in Picher. He had been a resident of Picher for 26 years and was a member of the Union church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bertha Young; two daughters, Mrs. Jewel Hampton, Tarkeo Missouri, and Mrs. Lela Gladhill, Picher; one brother, Ed Young, Joplin Missouri, and one sister, Mrs. Josie Day, Joplin Missouri; and seven grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Durnil funeral home, Picher.
