Wynn, John

Funeral services for John Wynn, resident of Afton Oklahoma for the past 36 [?] years, will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at the Assembly of God church there. The Rev. R. P. Corp will officiate. Mr. Wynn, an 86 year old retired teamster, died Friday night at the Johnson hospital in Afton. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Survivors include a son, Otis Wynn, Afton; three brothers, Will Wynn, Shawnee Oklahoma, Virge Wynn, Fayetteville Arkansas, and Malichi Wynn, Oklahoma City Oklahoma; two sisters, Mrs. Janie Garner, Sacramento California, and Mrs. Ann Garner, Mountain Grove Missouri, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Otho Myers, Homer Langley, Cecil Tipton and Everett Tipton, Benton Haggerty and Roscoe Thorpe. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery, near Afton, under direction of the Birks funeral home.
