retired miner and World War I veteran, was pronounced dead at 6 pm Wednesday in Picher Oklahoma hospital shortly after suffering a heart attack at his home, 615 South River Street at Picher. Wright, 64, had been a resident of Picher since 1924. He was a member of the American Legion post there. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Pearl Wright of the home, two sons, Walter Wright, Lawson Oklahoma, and Riley Wright of California, a step-son, Marion Lamb, Houston Pennsylvania; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Brown, Broken Arrow Oklahoma, Mrs. Dorothy Morgan, Pueblo Colorado, and Mrs. Leslie French, Oxnard California; a half brother, Hugh Cook, Fort Gibson Oklahoma; three sisters, Mrs. Katherine - ---, Joplin Missouri, Mrs. Beulah Spuders, Greenfield Missouri, and Mrs. Irene Mayberry of near Carthage Missouri, and several grandchildren. Arrangements for services and burial will be announced by the Thomas funeral home of Picher.

Final rites for Ora C. Wright, retired miner and World War I veteran, will be conducted at 2 pm Saturday at the Hunter mortuary chapel in Picher. The Rev. Ivan Underhill will officiate. Wright, 64, was pronounced dead in Picher hospital Wednesday shortly after suffering a heart attack at his home, 615 South River Street, Picher. Members of Springs-Hance post No. 150 of the American Legion will conduct military rites at the grave in G.A.R. cemetery, at Miami.
