Cardin Oklahoma resident for the past 35 years, died at 6 o'clock this morning at the Picher hospital, Picher Oklahoma. The 60 year old, World War I veteran came to Cardin from Webb City Missouri in 1917 and had been employed as an electrical foreman for the Beck Mining Company, since 1938. He was a member of the Masonic lodge in Picher and the Cardin Christian church. Survivors include his wife, Freda Wright; a daughter, Mrs. Hugh Halteman Kansas City Missouri; a son, Frank Wright, Jr., Commerce Oklahoma; two brothers, Dick Wright, Oklahoma City, and Charles Wright, Norwalk California; a sister, Mrs. Mimi Graham, Picher, and three grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Thomas funeral home.

Funeral services for John Franklin Wright, 60 year old Cardin resident who died Wednesday, will be held at 2:30 o'clock. Friday afternoon at the First Christian church in Cardin with the Rev. John Lyttle officiating. The Ottawa lodge No. 478 of Picher will conduct Masonic rites at the grave. The body will lie in state at the home from 6 o'clock this evening until the funeral hour. Nephews will act as pallbearers. They include Richard Wright, Bill Wright, Kenneth Wright, Raymond Wright, Roger Graham and Lawrence Karnes. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami under direction of the Thomas funeral home.
