special officer of the Eagle-Picher Mining and Smelting Company reported at Baxter Springs Kansas, Sunday, that two and one-half tons of slack ore had been stolen from the Silver Fox Mine. Ore buyers were warned to be on the lookout for the ore, but there had been no report of an attempted sale today.
