Wisley was taken ill soon after being bitten Tuesday morning. Phillips upon his arrival that he believed he had been bitten by a spider, but the illness caused by the bite was so similar to that resulting from snake bites that Dr. Phillips stated he believed that Wisley was bitten by a snake. Wisley's condition ws reported today as being much improved.
