65 years old, a pioneer resident of Treece Kansas, died at 6 o'clock last night. He spent many years working as a hard rock lead and zinc miner, being last employed as a machine man by the Eagle-Picher Mining Company. He had not worked since July 1. Surviving relatives are his wife, Mrs. Betty Winchester; two sons, Hubert Winchester of Van Texas and Robert Winchester of Treece; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Lucas of Granby Missouri and Miss Dorothy Winchester of Treece. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The Todd undertaking company, Picher, is in charge.
