34 years old, of Webb City Missouri, employed at the Kansas Exploration Company Mine, north of Picher Oklahoma, was injured fatally early today in a motor car wreck on the Joplin Missouri highway about one mile north of Baxter Springs Kansas. A large car in which Wilmoth and 12 other miners were riding to work went into a ditch and overturned when crowded off the road by another car which it was attempting to pass, according to the version of the accident received here. Four other men were slightly injured. Wilmoth was rushed to a Baxter Springs hospital in an ambulance, but he died before reaching the hospital. Funeral arrangements have not been made.
