70 year old retired lead and zinc miner, died at his home in Hockerville Oklahoma at 8:30 p.m. Thursday. He had been a resident of the Tri-State district for the past 13 years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mae Williams of Centerville California; five daughters, Mrs. Pauline Watkins of Paramount California; Mrs. Lucille Jones, Mrs. Ruth Reynolds and Mrs. Madeline Williams, all of Compton California, and Mrs. Gladys Cartion of Yucaipa California; a stepson, Ernest Rohrer of Hockerville; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Marie Ballard of Denver Colorado; a brother, Marvin Williams of Hockerville; a sister, Mrs. Louise Cox of Redland California, and 20 grandchildren. The Hunter funeral home of Picher will announce arrangements for services and burial.

Funeral service for Charles Ernest Williams, 70 year old retired lead and zinc miner, will be conducted at the First Baptist church in Hockerville at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Oren L. Perry will officiate. Pallbearers will be Harrison Hodge, Ed Moore, Frank Gebhart, Vurl Keller, Oscar Brandon and Lester Hansford. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami. The body will lie in state at the Hunter chapel until the funeral hour. A resident of the Tri-State district for the past 13 years, Williams died at his home in Hockerville Thursday.
