40 years old, well known Picher Oklahoma miner, died Monday night at Phoenix Arizonia, where he went two months ago for the benefit of his health. Information of Mr. Whitt's death was received yesterday by Picher friends. He had worked in the mines here many years, most of which time he had been in the employee of the Eagle-Picher Mining Company. He was last employed as a machine man at Picher Mine No. 8. Before coming to Picher Mr. Whitt resided in Webb City Missouri, for some time, where he also worked as a miner. He has no relatives here and funeral arrangements are not known at this time.
