63 year old district millman, died at 5:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at his home, one and a half miles north of Commerce Oklahoma. A member of the Masonic ledge of Commerce, White had worked for district mining companies for the past 25 years. He is survived by his wife, Cora K. White; and three children, Virgil White, Parsons Kansas, Donald White and Betty Lou White, of the home, and four brothers. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the First Methodist church in Commerce. The Rev. M. O. Childress will officiate. The body will lie in state at the Mitchelson funeral home chapel at Commerce until the funeral hour. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery at Joplin Missouri.
