72 years old, retired miner, died at 7 o'clock this morning at his home 106 South Ella Street, Picher Oklahoma. Mr. West had lived in the community 25 years and was a member of the Christian church of Springfield Missouri. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Martha West of the home; a son, James A. West of Picher; seven daughters, Mrs. W. R. Landreth and Mrs. Lee Calkin of Los Angeles California, Mrs. Kenneth Gary of Tillamook Oregon, Mrs. G. E. Myers of Kansas City, Mrs. Paul Harris, Mrs. Charles Shirley and Mrs. Leo Fagan of Picher; a brother, Walter West of Coalings California; a sister Mrs. Grace Johnson of Pittsburg Kansas, and 32 grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Goodson funeral home of Picher.

Clyde West, 72 year old retired Picher hard rock lead and zinc miner died last Saturday morning at his home on 106 South Ella Street. He had been a resident of this area the past twenty-five years. He was a member of the Christian church in Springfield Missouri. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Martha West of the home; a son, James A. West of Picher; seven daughters, Mrs. W. R. Landreth and Mrs. Les Calkin of Los Angeles, California; Mrs. Kenneth Gary of Tillamook Oregon; Mrs. G. E. Myers of Kansas City; Mrs. Paul Harris, Mrs. Charles Shirley and Mrs. Leo Fagan of Picher; a brother, Walter West of Coaling California; a sister, Mrs. Grace Johnson of Pittsburg Kansas; and 33 grandchildren.
