45 year old Picher Oklahoma miner, died Saturday, May 1, 1948, at 8:00 pm, at his home at 617 North Gladys Street. He lived in and around Picher for the past 23 years, and had worked in the district for the past 17 years. At the time of his death, he was employed by Hum-Bah-Wah- Taw Mine. Survived by wife, Leora Warren; son James Lee Warren of the home; a sister, Mrs. James Hand, Miami. Pallbearers were John Bassett, Dewey Walton, Roy Thornton, Jack Hand, Earl Hand and George Shoemaker. Buried G.A.R. cemetery at Miami, by Goodson-Durnil funeral home.
