Ward, Jeff
Abstract Data
A man about 50 years old, was found in a senseless condition on the South Connell avenue, Picher Oklahoma at 10 Friday night. Todd's ambulance was called and took him to the Picher hospital where an examination revealed that his scalp was cut, both ankles fractured and possibly his skull fractured indicating that an automobile had passed over his body. Saturday forenoon he was still in a dazed condition and said that his name was Jeff Ward and that he lived by himself at Douthat Oklahoma and was an employee of the Admiralty Mines. The mining company said they had one T. Ward on the time books and that he was absent today. The man claims to have a brother here and first said that he was run over by an automobile and later denied it, showing that consciousness had not returned to the extent that he could describe how he came to be in the injured condition.
