38 years old, a Zincville Oklahoma miner, shot himself in the head with a .38 caliber revolver at a boarding house in Zincville at 2 this afternoon. He was brought to the American hospital at Picher Oklahoma, in an ambulance of the Todd undertaking company, Picher, where it was found that his injury was not serious. The bullet merely inflicted a scalp wound, surgeons said. No reason was given by Walker for his act. The shooting occurred in the boarding house where he has been making his home. He is unmarried.
