71, who lived at 601 South Cherokee Street, Picher Oklahoma, with his son, Tommy Walkenshaw, died at 2:30 o'clock this morning at a Picher hospital following a heart attack. He came here from Webb City Missouri, in 1917. He was a retired mill foreman for the Golden Rod Company. Survivors include two other sons, Arthur Walkenshaw and Ben A. Walkenshaw, both of Picher; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Shuey, Waco Missouri, and Mrs. W. O. Parker, Kellogg Idaho; a brother, Earl Walkenshaw, Picher; a sister, Mrs. C. W. Fry, Carthage Missouri, and 14 grandchildren.

Funeral services for Benjamin Franklin Walkenshaw, 71 year old Picher resident who died there Thursday, will be conducted in the Thomas chapel at 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Harley Niday will officiate. Pallbearers will be Dorsey Hammock, Charles Ridley, B. Tow, Elmer Wood, Clifford McFerron and Floyd Schooley. Burial will be in the Ozark Memorial cemetery at Joplin. The body will lie in state at the home of a son, Arthur Walkenshaw in Picher from 2 o'clock this afternoon until the funeral hour.
