49 years old, died at his home in Cardin Oklahoma at 3:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon following an extended illness. He had worked in the hard rock lead and zinc mines most of the six years he resided in Cardin, being employed last by the Evans-Wallower Mining Company. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Martha Vanderpool, three daughters, Madge Vanderpool, Velma Vanderpool and Avanell Vanderpool; two sons, Billie Vanderpool and Russell Vanderpool, all at home; his father, J. S. Vanderpool of Braymer Missouri, seven brothers, Payton Vanderpool, Mon Vanderpool, Everett Vanderpool, James Vanderpool, Louis Vanderpool, Sam Vanderpool and Thomas Vanderpool, and a sister, Mrs. Bessie Winters, all of Braymer. Funeral services will be conducted at the Latter Day Saints church in Cardin at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon with the Rev. Lee quick of Kansas officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery in Kansas, northwest of Treece Kansas, Todd undertaking company, Picher.
