A resident of Commerce for many years, Vandermark died at his home after a long illness. Before retiring in 1953, he had been employed for 30 years by the Bilharz Mining Company. A member of the Methodist church, Mr. Vandermark is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ann Vandermark of the home; two daughters, Bertha Vandermark of the home and Mrs. Wayne Davis, Miami; two sisters, Mrs. Herman Palm, Miami, and Mrs. Tresa McBrien, Denver Colorado; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday in the chapel of the Jim Thomas mortuary at Commerce. Lincoln York, will officiate. Burial in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami.
