Van Curen, Luther John

Funeral services for Luther John Van Curen, 39 year old lead and zinc miner who died suddenly in Cardin Oklahoma last Wednesday, will be conducted at 1 o'clock this afternoon at the Assembly of God church in Cardin. The Rev. George Brannon will officiate. Pallbearers will be James Fred Howell, J. E. Dameron, S. E. Spradling, Jasper Busby, Glen Snow and Howard Kelly. A second service will be held in Garfield Arkansas, at 2 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in the Garfield cemetery under direction of the Goodson-Durnil funeral home of Miami.
