Ussery, Levi

Funeral services for Levi Ussery, 53 year old former Tri-State district miner who died at his home in Joplin Missouri Wednesday, will be conducted at the Assembly of God church in Quapaw Oklahoma at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Dow Booe will officiate. He will be assisted by the Rev. Ray Strickland. Nephews of the deceased will act as pallbearers. They include Grant Eby, Elmer Eby, Ben Eby, Hank Eby and Gene Eby and William Earl Flager. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami under direction of the Hunter funeral home of Picher Oklahoma. The body will lie in state at the family home, 802 North Harlem Street in Joplin, until the funeral hour.
