a resident of Cardin Oklahoma, 35 years, died at 5:10 p.m. Wednesday at Marshall Missouri, where he had been undergoing medical treatment for a week. He was 47 years old. Tyree had been employed by the American Lead and Zinc Company at the Rialto Mill for nine years before illness forced his retirement last Feb 16. He was a member of the Cardin Baptist church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ethel Tyree; a daughter, Mrs. William Colver of Norwalk California; his mother, Mrs. Anna Tyree of Cardin; three brothers, Bill Tyree of Peoria Illinois, Jack Tyree of Kellogg Idaho, and Fred Tyree of Commerce; two sisters, Mrs. Ola Triplett of Racine Missouri, and Mrs. Louis Melson of Amarillo Texas, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be announced by Thomas funeral home, Picher.

Funeral services for Walter Harvey Tyree will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Full Gospel church of Cardin. The Rev. Russell Moudy will officiate. Assisting will be the Rev. Albert Terry. Pallbearers will be Ralph Leslie, John LaFalier, Earl Hutchins, Walter Lee, Orville Stepp and Harley Baker. The body will lie in state at the home in Cardin until the funeral hour. Tyree, a resident of Cardin for 35 years, died Wednesday evening. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami.
