Turner received a $1,000 bonus form the Federal Mining and Smelting Ccompany for having completed the construction of the new Muncie Mill in 30 working days...He received a $500 bonus several years ago for completing the Boska Mill on the Clark land within 21 working days. This was in the days of the financial crash which preceded the depression. Within 24 hours after Turner received the contract for the Boska Mill, 250 men came to his home in Commerce seeking work on the mill...In the Webb City Missouri field, Turner built the Sisco Mill, which had a capacity for 800 tons, in six weeks. He also built the Meda Mill and the C. D. and E. Mill in that field. In the immediate field, other mills among those he has constructed are the Miami Wonder Mill, which is now known as the Royal Mill, and the Larsh Lead and Zinc Mill and the Pioneer Mill now owned by the Britt Milling Company.

of Commerce Oklahoma, a mill contractor who received a $1,000 bonus for completing the Muncie Mill in 30 working days, is the contractor of the construction of a 100 ton mill being erected by Frank Hudson of Quapaw Oklahoma and his associates on the Gilstrap land, southwest of Spurgeon. Turner expects to have the mill in operation within the next three weeks...Other partners in the company include T. C. Williams and Ed Shefley, both of Noel Missouri.
