46 years old, died at his home at Hockerville Oklahoma this morning at 4:30 o'clock. He is survived by his wife, and three children, Paul Townsend, Sherman Townsend and Lucile Townsend. The funeral will be held from the church at Hockerville tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock under the direction of the Todd undertaking company, Picher. Burial will be made in the Forest Park of Joplin Missouri. Rev. M. H. Patrick, of Duenweg Missouri, will conduct the services.

Picher, Jan 1. The funeral of William Edward Townsend, 46 years old, who died at his home at Hockerville will be held this afternoon at 1 o'clock. The deceased was among the first miners to locate in the Picher Oklahoma district. Burial was made in the Forest Park cemetery at Joplin. The funeral was under the direction of the Todd undertaking company, Picher.
