Townsend, Charley

54 years old, died at 2 o'clock this morning at his home here. Death followed a long illness. He leaves four daughters, Mrs. Gladys Stafford, Mrs. Ruth Preston, Mrs. Jennie Wilson and Miss Margaret Townsend, and three sons, Billy Townsend, Clarence Townsend and Clyde Townsend, all of Cardin Oklahoma. The funeral will be at 10 o'clock Thursday morning at the Baptist church here. The Rev. Jones of Quapaw will officiate. Burial will be in the Forest Park cemetery, Joplin Missouri, under direction of the Todd undertaking company, Picher.
