Of Commerce Oklahoma, died Saturday, Jul 17, at 2:47 am of Eastwood Manor Nursing Center in Commerce. He was 83. He was born Mar 26, 1916, in Ottawa county Oklahoma to Erick Thulin and Amy Rhodes Thulin. He had lived in Commerce 32 years before moving to Miami. He was a retired carpenter. He married Eulah Laverne Blair on Feb 2, 1925 in Miami. She preceded him death in Aug 1992. Also preceding him in death were a son, Argel Thulin; a brother, Roy Thulin; and two sisters, Evelyn Middleton and Belma Doty. Survivors include a son, Tom Thulin of Miami, three daughters, Carol Burleson of Commerce Oklahoma, Sharon Kristian of Tulsa Oklahoma, and Elizabeth Goad of Commerce; three brothers, Rev. Kenneth Thulin, Bob Thulin and Troy Thulin, all of Miami; three sisters, Earline Bussy, Audrey Cook, and Bonnie Ice, all of Miami; 22 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and a special friend, Nellie Weston. The funeral is Monday, Jul 19, at 2 pm at the Paul Thomas funeral home in Miami with Rev. Danny Burleson officiating. Pallbearers will be Mr. Thulin's grandsons. The family will receive friends Sunday, Jul 18, from 3 to 4 p at Paul Thomas funeral home, Miami. Burial is at Hickory Grove cemetery in Grove.
