74, a retired hard rock lead and zinc miner, who lived on Seneca Missouri, Rt 1, died at 11 pm Thursday in Miami Baptist hospital following a long illness. Born Jan 12, 1895, in Craig county Oklahoma, he had been a resident of Ottawa county Oklahoma for 12 years. He was a member of the Assembly of God church in Wyandotte Oklahoma. Mr. Thornbrugh is survived by his wife, Mrs. Billie Thornbrugh of the home, a son, Roy I. Thornbrugh, Phoenix Arizona; four daughters, Mrs. Ruth Maden, Sacramento, California, Mrs. Betty Luden and Mrs. Shirley Bartholomew, Walnut Creek California, and Mrs. Gladys Zurschmide, Spain; three brothers, Ben Thornbrugh, Wyandotte Rt 1 Oklahoma; four sisters, Mrs. Ethel Markley and Mrs. Ruby Lunn, Sand Springs Oklahoma, Mrs. Pearl Horton, Wyandotte, and Mrs. Bessie Brumley, Grass Valley California; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday at the Biddlecome chapel in Seneca Missouri with the Revs. F. J. Brooks of Wyandotte and Arthur Shawgo of Columbus officiating. Burial will be in the Seneca cemetery.
