73 years old, died at 5 o'clock yesterday morning at his home at 412 North Netta Street, Picher Oklahoma, following an illness of several years. Death was due to cancer. Mr. Thomas had lived in Picher 15 years and for a number of years worked as a miner. He was born at Warrenton Missouri where he lived many years. Surviving are two sons, Paul Thomas and Elbert Thomas of Windsor Illinois; three daughters, Miss Cora Mae Thomas, also of Windsor, Mrs. John Thomas of Galena Kansas and Mrs. A. L. Miller of Picher one brother, James E. Thomas of Kansas City Kansas. Funeral services were conducted at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Miller, 115 East Third Street, at 2 o'clock this afternoon with the Rev. Mrs. Harry Craig, officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill cemetery at Galena under direction of the Todd undertaking company, Picher.
