Ernest R. Taylor, 44 years old, a long-time employee at the Premier Mine of the New Chicago Mining Company died this morning at his home in Picher. Funeral arrangements have not been made. The body is at the Todd mortuary at Picher.

Funeral services for Ernest R. Taylor, 44 years old, who died at 10 o'clock Friday morning at his home, South Picher Street, will be conducted at the Baptist church at 11 o'clock Sunday morning. The Rev. Billie Bain, pastor will officiate. Burial will be at Granby Missouri, under the direction of the Todd undertaking company, Picher. Members of the Odd Fellows lodge will have charge of the funeral. Mr. Taylor was an active member of the lodge. Pallbearers will be Frank Steele, Lee Stancoff, Otis Highley, Billy McWilliams, Charles Bullock and Howard Harrison. Mr. Taylor leaves his widow, Mrs. Pearl Taylor and six children. He was connected with the Premier Mine and New Chicago Mine for more than 12 years, coming to Picher 10 years ago from Granby.
