Funeral services for Tillmon Ray Summers, 46 years old lead and zinc miner, will be held at the Rogers schoolhouse, eight miles northwest of Welch Oklahoma at 2 Wednesday, Rev. Robert Nichols of Picher Oklahoma will officiate. Pallbearers will be John Philson, W. E. Lupe, Curtis Fox, Harry Armstrong, Sam Wells and Bert Houx. Burial will be in the Walker cemetery, northwest of Welch, under the direction of Thomas funeral home of Picher. A native of Welch, Summers died at the home of a sister, Mrs. Ida Hopper, East A Street, Picher at 1:35 pm Sunday after a short illness. He had lived in Picher for the last six years. Other survivors include three sons, Harvey Summers, Tillmon Ray Summers, Jr. both of Miami, and Pfc Robert Summers with a U. S. Army unit at Ft. Sill Oklahoma; his mother, Mrs. Mattie Summers of Bartlett Kansas; a brother Charles Summer, Picher and two sisters, Mrs. Orpha Baird, Edna Kansas and Mrs. May Filson, Bartlett.
