Abstract Data

51 years old, died at 3:15 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at his home in Douthat Oklahoma. He was born and reared in Galena Kansas, coming to this district in 1917, where he was engaged in mining until 1928, when he was forced to give up working because of illness. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Effie Sullenger; three brothers, William Sullenger, James Sullenger and John Sullenger; one nephew, Johnny Sullenger of Picher Oklahoma, and two nieces, Mrs. Frank Malone and Mrs. Guy Meador of Seminole Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at the Douthat Baptist church at 2 Friday afternoon with the Rev. Mrs. Lou Love of Webb City Missouri officiating. Pallbearers will be William Smith, Roy Stone, Jesse Vicory, Charles Vicory, Elmer Vicory and Merle Vicory, all life long friends of the deceased. Burial will be in the Hillcrest cemetery at Galena with the Todd undertaking company, Picher, in charge.
