Staton, Will

The fatal accident that occurred on Saturday, June 17, to Will Staton, formerly of Ottawa county Oklahoma, at Corona California, resulting in his death while at work for the Rhyelite Rock Crusher Company is thus related by a correspondent. He was thrown in the pit, a distance of 20 feet, his head striking as he fell. They started at once for the hospital but he died before reaching it. He was born in Newton county Missouri, May 31, 1879, and died June 17, 1911, being 32 years old, at the time of his death. He leaves a wife, and three small children in California, a mother and two brothers, two sisters, and other relatives of Ottawa county to mourn his loss.
