John E. Stamp, 52 years old, died at the Picher hospital Monday following an illness of several days' duration. He is survived by four children, Edgar Stamp, Myrtle Stamp, Murrein Stamp and Raymond Stamp whose ages range from 11 to 17 years. The Todd undertaking company of Picher has charge. Funeral arrangements have been delayed pending the arrival of relatives from Thayer Kansas.

or J. T. Stamps, suffering with an abscess on his hip, J. T. Stamps, a Hockerville Oklahoma miner, has been confined to his bed for 32 days. He is a widower and his four small children have been shifting for themselves and aiding with the housework since his illness. A party of Ku Klux Klansmen a few nights ago left $32 at the house with which to purchase food. Dr. W. B. Smith, county health officer, said he expected the man to recover.
