54 years old, died at 8 this morning after a brief illness, at his residence, 410 North Connell avenue, Picher Oklahoma. He was well known in mining circles and was employed as a jig man at the Blue Ribbon Mine. The cause of death has not been definitely determined. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Sena Price, Leavenworth Kansas, and a son, Charles Stafford, of Picher. The body was taken to the parlors of the Todd undertaking company, Picher and will await the arrival of the daughter. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Monday afternoon, and burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery, Galena Kansas.
