Lee Otis Smith, of 219 South Quincy Street, Commerce, died at Saturday morning in his home. He had been ill for the last 34 years. He was born Aug 22, 1899, in Granby Missouri and had been a resident of the Commerce area for 46 years. He was a welder for the Cortex King-Brand Mining Company of Picher. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Jennie Smith; three sons, Joe M. Smith, McMinn Oregon, Albert F. Bud' Smith, Commerce, and Robert L. Smith, New Orleans Louisiana; a daughter, Mrs. Marian Jones, Miami Rt 2; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
