Smith, James C.

died Aug 4, 1943, age 42, at his home, 711 South Emily, Picher Oklahoma at 8:15 Wednesday night. He was a hard rock lead and zinc miner. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Smith; three daughters, Mary Ann Smith, Bertha Mae Smith, and Elma Smith; one stepdaughter, Raydean Smith; one son, Jimmy Lee Smith, all of Picher; one brother, John Smith; three sisters, Norene Smith, Ann Smith, and Mrs. Ella Smith, and mother Mrs. Mary C. Smith, all of Ducktown Tennessee. The Durnil funeral home, Picher, will announce the funeral arrangements.
